Terms of Service

By using emailzeno ("the service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
emailzeno provides bulk SMTP email verification via REST API and web dashboard. We connect to recipient mail servers using EHLO / MAIL FROM / RCPT TO / QUIT and never send the DATA command — no email is delivered to the address being verified.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to verify addresses you do not have a legitimate business reason to contact
- Use the service to support unsolicited bulk email (spam) campaigns
- Resell raw API access without prior written consent
- Probe addresses to harvest, enumerate, or guess valid mailboxes
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to overload the service
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach acceptable use without refund.
3. Account & API keys
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure. Activity performed with your keys is attributed to you.
4. Credits & billing
- Credits are consumed on each verification, with refund rules described in our API documentation.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Credit packs are non-refundable once granted, except as required by law.
- Free-tier credits expire monthly and do not roll over.
5. Service level
We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the public API. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance. We do not offer formal SLAs to free-tier accounts.
6. Intellectual property
The service, including its code, branding, and documentation, is owned by emailzeno. You retain ownership of email addresses you submit and the verification results we return for your data.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from settings. We may terminate accounts for breach of these Terms after written notice and a reasonable cure period, except for serious abuse where we may terminate immediately.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where emailzeno is registered. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms with at least 14 days' notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
